The St. Thomas Aquinas football team is used to winning. In fact, it is about all they know. Raiders fans have become accustomed to their team on the gridiron showcasing nothing but success, making dominance look almost routine.
The Raiders have won five consecutive state championships. This Friday, they start their march toward a sixth. The STA football team opens up their playoff run in the Region Quarterfinal at 7:00 p.m. at Brian Piccolo Stadium at Simmons Family Field vs North Miami.
The squad, led by 9th year head coach Roger Harriot, enters postseason play with a record of 7-3. The three losses have all been by one possession, and have all came against some of the top teams in the country. This group is battle tested, and hungry to shake off the defeats and secure a historic championship.
All home games will be broadcast on the NFHS Network. All tickets for home games can be found at gofan.co
