St. Thomas Aquinas Head Football Coach Roger Harriott has been honored as the 2025 National Football Coach of the Year by High School Football America, in partnership with the National High School Coaches Association.
Harriott, who has led the Raiders since 2015, guided STA to the 2025 High School Football America National Championship and a record seventh consecutive Florida state title — part of nine state championships he has earned at Aquinas.
This prestigious national award marks a special milestone in Coach Harriott’s career and recognizes his exceptional leadership and sustained excellence on the field. He is just the second coach in Aquinas history to receive this honor, joining George Smith, who was named Coach of the Year in 2010.
