The St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders have capped an incredible 2025 season by being crowned 2025 High School Football America National Champions — the first Florida team to receive this honor since 2020.
Powered by the final High School Football America 300 rankings, the Raiders finished the year ranked No. 1 in the nation with a 14-1 record. After a hard-fought three-point loss in Week 1 to Mater Dei (CA), STA rattled off 14 straight victories to close the season.
The championship was solidified with a dominating shutout over Lakeland (29-0) in the FHSAA Class 5A state title game, highlighting Aquinas’ elite performance on both sides of the ball.
This national title caps another remarkable year for Raiders football and adds to our proud tradition of excellence on the field. The standard is the standard.
