The St. Thomas Aquinas High School Girls Rowing Team traveled to Tennessee this past weekend to compete against the top programs in the country at the Scholastic Rowing Association of America National Championship Regatta — and the Raiders delivered an unforgettable performance on the national stage.
The Girls Junior Four crew of Hailey Chaiken, Gianna Attento, Alana Fernandes, Maite Thorndike, and Rylan Dudley captured the National Championship by winning their final and earning the title of National Champions.
The success continued with the Girls Junior Quad of Grace Miner, Olivia Hickey, Lucia Magilligan, and Emma Yaeger advancing to the semifinal round and finishing as the No. 10 school in the nation in their event.
Congratulations to all of our student-athletes and coaches on an incredible weekend representing STA with pride, determination, and excellence!
