Both St. Thomas Aquinas basketball teams breezed to 6A-14 District championships this past week. Both the boys and girls now enter region tournament play with momentum and sit just five wins away from state championships.
The boys defeated Coral Springs 90-65 while the girls defeated Coral Springs 66-26. The boys are the top seed and will host all region games while the girls are the second seed and will play the first two games at home.
