Sarah Lihan, a St. Thomas Aquinas alumna, went on to become one of the top competitive sailors in the United States. She competed collegiately for Yale University, where she was an All-American and helped the Bulldogs capture the 2009 ICSA Women’s Dinghy National Championship. Lihan represented Team USA at the 2012 London Olympics in the Women’s 470 sailing event and continued to compete at the international level, later serving as a coach and mentor within the U.S. Sailing program.
