It was a strong season for the boys soccer team as they advanced to the FHSAA State Semifinals. Highlighted by a balance squad with multiple contributors, those players have received recognition by the Sun-Sentinel.
Seniors Rayne Archuleta, Frank Markovich and Francis Owino were named to the Broward 7A-5A First Team.
Nathan Combs and Ethan See were selected to the Second Team.
Matteo Forato, Jakob Hillinger, Tyler Hinkle, Luigi Landi, Felipe Toban, Galo Villamayor and Jonathan Young were all named honorable mentions.
Long-tenured head coach John Walsh was named the Co-Coach of the Year. “I was happy with the way we played, developed, and performed over the course of the season, and pleased that we were able to get to another Final Four,” he told the Sun-Sentinel. “Realistically, in light of the number of pieces we had to replace from the previous year, we arguably exceeded expectations.”
