Bryan Hantak’s soccer coaching career spans more than 30 years, beginning in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, where he developed his love for the game as a player at the club, high school, collegiate, and semi-professional levels. Over the course of his career, he has built an extensive and highly successful coaching résumé, including 17 years at the collegiate level, 25 years in club soccer, and 18 years coaching high school programs. His teams have achieved a remarkable combined record of 734-158-94, highlighted by two National Championships and eight State Titles, reflecting both consistency and excellence across every level he has coached.
His journey took him to Dallas, Texas, where he and his wife spent more than a decade raising their two daughters, before making the move to Florida four years ago. Now at St. Thomas Aquinas, Bryan continues to bring his experience and leadership to the program, with a strong emphasis on developing the whole student-athlete. While his success on the field is undeniable, he takes equal pride in mentoring players in their personal growth, leadership, and character, helping prepare them for success beyond soccer.
In addition to his role on the sidelines, Bryan is equally dedicated in the classroom as an English teacher, where he shares his passion for literature and critical thinking with his students. He considers himself truly blessed to be part of the STA community, where he is able to combine his love for education and athletics, leaving a lasting impact on his students and players both on and off the field.
