St. Thomas Aquinas turned in a commanding postseason performance with a 58–7 win over Heritage, using a fast start and steady production across the roster to advance in the FHSAA Class 5A state bracket.
The Raiders struck early with two first-quarter touchdowns and blew the game open in the second, piling on 28 points before halftime to take a 42–7 lead. A key highlight came from the defense, as Ri’Chard Bowe jumped a route and returned an interception for a touchdown to fuel the momentum.
Offensively, all three STA quarterbacks contributed to the scoring, showcasing the depth and balance of the unit as each found the end zone. Aquinas added another touchdown in the third quarter and closed out the night with a fourth-quarter score and a safety, completing a dominant all-around effort.
Next up, the Raiders face Coconut Creek in the Region Semifinals on Fri., Nov 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Brian Piccolo Stadium.
