St. Thomas Aquinas Athletics has maintained a lasting legacy of greatness in academics and athletics. STA is known for its tradition of excellence, strong work ethic and winning culture. The main goal for student athletes is to defend the “A” and take pride in it. St. Thomas Aquinas has won the Broward County All Sports Trophy for 40 consecutive years; from 1981-2020. They’ve gained the Florida Athletics Coaches All Sports Trophy for 35 consecutive years; from 1984-2019. The STA athletics program boasts a long list of State titles, as seen below.
